Finding Inspiration in Every Build
I've always had project cars. Lots of project cars. It started with water-cooled Volkswagens, and spread to JDM cars, BMWs, Mercedes. I always tried to push things as far as I could while keeping the builds as clean as possible.
I started powder coating my own parts about a decade ago in my downtime at my day job. I started putting together my own equipment at my shop in Cleveland and recently moved back to the Pittsburgh area where I grew up, bringing all of my equipment with me.
I absolutely love the process of taking an old part, whether its a set of wheels that have seen better days, or some engine brackets that will likely go unnoticed by anyone but the person doing the build, and bringing new life to them. Its the little details in a project that set it apart from the rest and make it your own.
I do it all, from auto wheels, brake calipers and engine parts, to atv and motorcycle frames, tanks and parts. From basic black to textured colors, two tone, candy colors and chromes. Nothing leaves my shop unless I would use it on my own project.
